One of the original “Six Masterpieces” released upon the resurrection of the brand, this Complete Calendar Moonphase reference 6595-1127-11 is made more special with the inclusion of the exceptional Gay Feres bracelet. Admittedly, I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching trying to decide if I was going to keep this one for myself, as I’ve absolutely fallen for how charming and easy to wear it is. Like the 1180 Chronograph, the case wears exceptionally well with the ease of 34mm but with more prominence than that diameter would suggest with the help of the 19mm lug spacing and elegantly tapered bracelet.

Case: The stainless-steel case measures 34 x 37.7 x 8.5 mm with 19 mm lug spacing and appears to be unpolished.

Dial: The matte white dial is elegantly finished, per the norm of the series, ultra-thin applied roman numerals, subtly raised black applied text, and finely polished leaf hands. The dial is overall in very good condition with just one small dust or mark above the applied five o’clock index.

Movement: The in-house movement is a 65 module mounted on a 951 caliber and is winding, setting, and functioning well and correctly. Calendar functions change crisply and accurately and the watch is running well, averaging approximately -2 s/d across 6 positions.

Bracelet: The signed Gay Feres bracelet might be the star of the show for me. This bracelet is very comfortable and has that feeling of high quality, particularly evident in the stamping on the clasp blades and flip lock. The main links are brushed and faceted in a way to dynamically reflect light very similarly to that of a Royal Oak bracelet, a real treat. The bracelet will fit an approximate 6.5” wrist.
