Blancpain Villeret Ultra Slim Chronometer Reference 7002
Blancpain Villeret Ultra Slim Chronometer Reference 7002
Easily the leading candidate for watches that “feel” like a a lot more than the price would suggest in my very humble opinion.
An absolute neo-vintage icon through and through, and the subject of numerous wonderful articles and reviews of yesteryear.
DIAL: matte-eggshell white dial with mirror polished applied Breguet numerals set neatly in a slightly sunken hour track providing a great deal of depth and dimension to the dial. The no-date with sub seconds and modest and warm luminova manages to be modern, timeless, dressy, and sporty.
CASE: 36mm stainless steel case is just 6.8mm thin with its thin signature double shoulder bezel and nicely sized signed crown. The 7002 is the brand’s only stainless steel case to feature a sapphire caseback displaying the beautifully finished movement.
Movement: the manually wound Blancpain caliber 64-1 is a heavily modified and finished Pseaux 7001 that was Blancpains only certified chronometer. The movement was just serviced and keeping time within chronometer specifications.
Includes: Comes on a new CF Paris gator strap with accompanying signed steel buckle, original wooden box, and Blancpain travel case.
