Rolex Explorer II Ref 16570 Polar

$6,199.00

The Polar Explorer is a watch that needs no introduction, so let’s get straight to it. This one is very clean throughout and in very nice condition with perfect dial, hands, and bezel, and priced to move!

Case:  The (near) universally accepted as perfect case size of 40 x 47 x 12.2 mm with 20 mm lugs is in very clean condition throughout, with crisp original finishing on all surfaces.  The sides of the case have been polished in the past removing some of the lug chamfer at the tips, however the lugs retain their original fullness, crisp top brushed surfaces, and it’s very much ready to a life full of adventure.

The “P” serial case indicates approximate production in 2000.

Dial:  The matte white dial is free of any imperfections and clean throughout.  The hands are also free of defect and everything appears beautifully.

Movement:  The caliber 3185 automatic winding movement is operating correctly and smoothly and running at +1.3 s/d averaged across 6 positions.

Bracelet:  The solid end link 78790A Oyster bracelet has a matching DE1 stamped clasp indicating approximately 2000-2001 production as well.  The bracelet will approximately fit up to a 7.5” wrist and is in very nice condition as shown.

Includes:  The Tourneau / Bucherer certified pre-owned card is included.
